Arhitektonski fakultet u Beogradu i Austrijski kulturni forum vas pozivaju na predavanje prof. Huberta Klumpnera na temu “Designing Urban Imaginaries”.

Predavanje će biti održano u četvrtak, 04. maja 2023. godine, u 17 časova, u Svečanoj sali Univerziteta u Beogradu – Arhitektonskog fakulteta, Bul. Kralja Aleksandra 73/II.

Designing Urban Imaginaries

The line is drawn
The curse is cast
The slow one now

What if the built- and natural environment cope with each other to the benefit of current and future generations?
What if scale allows for situating architecture between the changes of a place and permanent displacement?
What if conventional historic buildings, materials, methods, processes and tools which are already in place, can challenge the new standards of SDG[1]’s, IPCC[2] reports, Net Zero, ESG evaluation, Climate ProtectionLaws, providing space for a culture of circularity, repair and upgrade over time? What if incomplete modernity is accepted as part of a history that began, but propelled us away from today’s objectives, what if modernity was wrong?

Biografija

Hubert Klumpneris je austrijski arhitekta i direktor Urbanthinktank_next. Smatra se jednim od začetnika „socijalnog zaokreta“, pokreta koji je svoj proboj doživeo 2010. godine izložbom MoMA u Njujorku „Small Scale, Big Change: New Architectures of Social Engagement“. Profesor je arhitekture i urbanog dizajna na Švajcarskom institutu za tehnologiju / ETH Cirih. Urbanthinktank je dobio brojne nagrade i nagrade poput Zlatnog lava Venecijanskog bijenala arhitekture, Zlatne Holcimove nagrade Latinske Amerike ili Nagrade za najbolju obrazovnu zgradu od Čikaškog Muzeja arhitekture i dizajna. Nedavno izgrađeni projekti uključuju “Fabrica de Cultura” i projekat zelenog koridora ONDA u Medeljinu, Kolumbija.
