Pavle Stamenović (1981) graduated from Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade in 2007. Employed at Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade as a teaching assistant since 2009. He was promoted to the position of assistant professor at the Department of Architecture in 2017. Author of several dozens of projects and proposals for architectural competitions, among which many have been awarded. Co-author of a number of published research papers. Defended the PhD thesis titled Generic Framework of Architectural Project, Instrumentalizing Typological Ambivalence at The Faculty of Architecture in 2016.The framework of the thesis questions the role and the possibilities for transforming architectural typologies in contemporary process of architectural design.
Participated in a number of international exhibitions and salons of architecture, among which Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008, and Tallin Architecture Biennale in 2013. Guest editor of Swedish Interdisciplinary magazine STAD in 2010. Since 2017. Editor of Rotative Research Dialogues interdisciplinary project (with Veguera, C., Sonneman, A., Rutenfranz, H.)
From 2008 to 2010, he has been a member of MIT Arh architectural office (prof. arch. Branislav Mitrović) working as an architect on numerous competition and commissioned projects. Since 2010. founder and member of RASTER – a collective of architects engaged in architectural design and research, focusing on conceptual architectural design and working on numerous competition projects, amongst which many have been awarded. Since 2006. continually participating in architecture summer schools and workshops as a tutor, among which Cloud Workshop (2011, Cadiz, Spain), Scale Workshop (2012, Helsinki, Finska), Kinetic (2015, Valletta, Malta), Projecting Cinemas (2016.Tehran, Iran), i Wilderness: 5th Season (2016. Soomaa, Estonia).
