Tijana Zisic is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, after completing an Integrated single-cycle-5-year study programme in architecture at the same institution, earning a Master’s degree in architecture. Since 2022, she has been working as a Teaching assistant at the Department of Architectural Technologies. Her research focuses on energy efficiency of buildings and bioclimatic architecture, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable architectural practices, with emphasis on wooden and steel structures.

She has made contributions through publications in both national and international journals. Her research, conducted in collaboration with colleagues, has been presented at various prestigious conferences, underscoring her role in advancing architectural knowledge and fostering global academic discourse. In addition to her academic achievements, Tijana’s work has been showcased at international exhibitions and design weeks, demonstrating her innovative approach to architectural design. These exhibitions have provided a platform for engaging with a wider audience and promoting sustainable architectural practices.

Tijana has successfully completed several architectural projects in Serbia, translating theoretical insights into tangible outcomes. These projects highlight her expertise in creating energy-efficient and bioclimatic designs that address contemporary needs while ensuring future sustainability. Furthermore, architectural competitions are her passion, in which she eagerly participates, while incouraging her students to do the same. As a teaching assistant, Tijana is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of architects, offering students a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, while motivating them to generate novel ideas.
