Relja Petrović, born in Belgrade, where he currently resides and works, graduated from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture in 2022, earning the title of Master Engineer of Architecture. During his studies, he served as a teaching associate (demonstrator) and actively participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including professional workshops and volunteer work in prominent institutions. After completing his studies, he accepted a position at the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade as a curator in the Department of Architecture, Urbanism, and Architectural Design. In his curatorial role, he contributed to organizing significant exhibitions, including Podrecca: ARCHICULTURE and the 45th Salon of Architecture – Salon of Dialogue, where he was also a member of the Architecture Salon Council. Following his museum engagement, he worked on implementing a project of great significance for architectural and cultural heritage – Staro Sajmište. Since March 2024, he has been employed at the Faculty of Architecture as an Assistant in the Department of Architecture, where he participates in teaching courses related to architectural design. He is concurrently a PhD student in Architecture and Urbanism. Relja is an associate member of the Serbian Society of Conservators (DKS) and a regular member of the Association of Architects of Belgrade (DAB). He regularly pursues professional development by participating in summer schools, as well as in professional and scientific conferences.
