Pedestrians’ Quality Needs (PQN)
TUD COST ACTION 358, 2006–2010
The main objective of the Action is to provide an essential contribution to systemic knowledge of pedestrians’ quality needs and the requirements stemming from those needs, thus stimulating structural and functional interventions, policy making and regulation to support walking conditions throughout the EU and other involved countries, considering aspects of European situation, human needs, everyday walking, walking in a public space, etc. The Action was focused on the identification of basic needs and on prevention within foreseeable political contexts.
