DANUrB team from the Faculty of Architecture of the Univeristy of Belgrade, alongside the team from a co-partner from Serbia, the University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Technical Sciences, got an award for the best cross-border project in the field of culture and cultural heritage in Serbia at a special ceremony, which was held within 6th National Conference on Cross-border Cooperation on November 14, 2018.
Jadranka Joksimović, the Minister of European Integration in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and National IPA Coordinator personally handed the award to Prof. Aleksandra Đukić, project manager in the front of the Faculty of Architecture.
This ceremony was held in the front of the EU Head of Unit Transnational-Interregional Cooperation, several ambassadors, representatives of severeal ministries, and more than 300 Serbian participants from different IPA projects in progress.
The DANUrB project was selected for this prestigious award among numerous applications from nine different IPA cross-border programmes.

DANUrB project– DANube Urban Brand – is a regional network built through tourism and education to strengthen the “Danube” cultural identity and solidarity. The project is financed by the European Union, through INTERREG Danube Transnational programme 2017-2019.
