The kick-off event and first partner meeting of the international DANUrB+ project, co-financed by the INTERREG Danube Transnational Program 2014-2020, took place online via Microsoft TEAMS on September 25-26, 2020, with participants from six Danube countries.
On September 25, 2020, the kick-off gathered over 70 participants from the partner organizations (19), the Associated Strategic Partners organizations (20), and several stakeholders from various countries. The introduction was given by project leader, Dr. Bálint Kádár from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. September 26, 2020 was dedicated to partners with the presentation of the workplan and discussions related to the implementation of the project. The second kick-off day was closed by the meeting of steering committee. No matter the distance, all participants shared their plans and ideas how to implement the project in specific circumstances.
All team members from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture attended the online DANUrB+ kick-off. Prof. Aleksandra Djukić and asst. Branislav Antonić presented two project tasks No 3 and 4, for which the Faculty of Architecture is responsible. Asst. Jelena Marić was a moderator in the session dedicated for partners from the Middle Danube Section.
After the kick-off, two additional joint meetings in small format were held during October 2020. The first one, on October 8, 2020, was organised by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture regarding the work on the mentioned tasks. Team members of the Faculty of Architecture also had an active role in the second meeting, held on October 27, 2020 in organisation of the University “Ion Mincu” from Bucharest.
