Ivana Lovrinčević was born in 1991 in Belgrade, where she finished primary and secondary school. She graduated from undergraduate and master academic studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. Since 2013, she has been actively participating in teaching at the faculty, first as a student demonstrator, and then, since 2016, as a teaching assistant at the Department of Architecture. After completing the master’s academic studies, he enrolled in doctoral studies (2015) at the Faculty of Architecture. During her undergraduate, master and PhD studies, she is a beneficiary of a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
Since 2016, she has been engaged as a young researcher on the scientific-research project Research and systematization of housing construction in Serbia in the context of globalization and European integration in order to improve the quality and housing standards of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. Since 2020, she has been a researcher in the scientific-research laboratory of the Faculty of Architecture – Jugoslovenski kulturni prostor. She has participated in several scientific gatherings of international and national importance. She is the author of a large number of scientific papers in journals of international and national importance. As part of her research, she examines hybrids and hybridity in architecture with a focus on the formation methodology, but also on design principles and reading of hybrid architecture.
In addition to scientific – research work, she practises architectural design within private practice, and in the period 2014-2019 within the architectural bureau Ured studio. As part of her professional and artistic achievements within the Ured studio, she participated in numerous national and international exhibitions of architecture and won numerous awards and recognitions at the national level, including recognitions at the Salon of Architecture in Belgrade, Salon of Urbanism in Belgrade and Salon of Architecture in Novi Sad. In addition, with the Ured studio, she won international awards for architecture within the BIG SEE event in Ljubljana and the international award “Leonardo 2019” at the VIII International Biennial of Young Architects “Leonardo Award 2019″ in Minsk, Belarus. She is the author of a large number of projects including office bulidings and housing, and several interior architecture projects for offices and educational spaces.
