Research interests:
BIM (Building Information Modeling), HBIM (Heritage BIM), architectural geometry, generative design, codification of architectural knowledge, PV and BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics)
Mirjana holds the position of assistant professor, teaching courses BIM 01, BIM 02, Integrated modelling of architectural objects – Revit and Parametric Modelling.
She received her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture. Her diploma project was awarded by University of Belgrade. International teaching and research experience gained from UNITEC Institute of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand.
She is active on numerous national research projects funded by the Serbian Ministry of Science, as well as on international projects funded by DAAD and EU (Erasmus LLP, COST). Within the Faculty of Architecture she is member of the Laboratory for exploration, valorisation, protection and presentation of cultural heritage.
Mirjana is member of scientific board of several periodic international conferences Places & Technologies (Belgrade, Serbia), PhD &DLA Symposium (Pecs, Hungary), IFAU (International Forum for Architecture and Urbanism, Tirana, Albania) and MONGEOMETRIJA (Belgrade, Serbia).
She is member of scientific boards of a couple of scientific journals: Arhitektura i urbanizam, IJAR – International Journal for Architecture and Urbanism i Open House International.
She is member of the Board of directors of the Association BIM Serbia, as well as of the Commision for BIM standardization within the Institute for Standardization of Serbia.
Mirjana is fluent in English, Russian and Slovak languages, and speaks French.
