Nenad Šekularac (1966) graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, the University of Belgrade in 1990. He obtained a Master of Science (1997) and Doctoral degrees (2010) from this Faculty.

At the Faculty of Architecture, he was first employed as an Assistant trainee (1990), and later on, he was named Assistant, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Ever since 2020, he has been a Full Professor.

ÖAD awarded him a scholarship, The Austrian Academic Exchange Service, Ministry of Science, the Austrian Federal Government, and he attended the Institute of Metal and Wood Structures, The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Innsbruck (1997 and 1998).

He is the author of numerous articles published in the leading international scientific research journals and many scientific national journals.

He is the author of the textbook Drveni rešetkasti nosači ‒ projektovanje, proračun i izvođenje krovnih konstrukcija, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade (2017).

He is the author of numerous chapters in books and scientific monographs.

He took part in many international and national scientific conferences, where he presented his works.

He is engaged in scientific research and takes part in numerous Scientific research projects.

He is the author of structural engineering projects for a large number of realized architectural objects in the country and abroad.

In 2004 he was given License 301 by the Serbian Chamber of Engineers, for Authorized Building Construction Designer and Authorized Designer of Architectural Projects, as well as the License 400, by the Serbian Chamber of Engineers, for Authorized Contracting Engineer in Building Construction.

Since 2004 he has been engaged in the process of reconstruction and restoration of the Monastery Hilandar, Mount Athos, as a responsible designer and contractor. He is a member of the Rehabilitation Council of the Holy Monastery Hilandar.

He is married and has two adult daughters.
