Ana Kontić (1993), obtained her bachelor’s (2014) and master’s degree (2017) from Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. From 2017, she is a PhD student at the same Faculty.

Her research interests are related with the characterization, repair and strengthening of historical constructions, namely in the area of mortars. She is author of several papers on these topics, published in both national and international scientific journals and conferences.

In July 2022, she graduated from the specialist program Structural Analysis of Historical Constructions at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Minho in Portugal, where she was investigating physical and mechanical characteristics of modified lime mortars for the protection of historical buildings. She is a member of the organizing board of INTBAU Serbia (INTBAU Serbia Chapter) as well as the Society of Conservators of Serbia.
